About Heritage Bakery Garden Route
We sell artisan breads (sourdough, bagatta, baguettes, rye), baked goods (croissants, carrot cake, brownies, cheesecake). We offer a range of gluten free cakes, breads, rusks and more.
Our restaurant offers breakfast and lunch. Try our loaded croissant or farmhouse breakfast.
In the shop, we sell our handmade crafts such as pottery, woodwork, weaving, soap, candles..anything you can think of.
There is also a nursery and a petting coop with alpacas and silkies.
It’s a whole fun family experience!

Accommodation at Heritage Farm
We have three accommodation units on the farm for visitors and holiday guests.
Rondi
Come and enjoy a tranquil hideaway for the night, a week, or a month on our self-sustaining small holding. The Rondi creates a authentic African yet modern stay. The Rondi is tucked under giant pine trees, with the sound of the Indian ocean roaring, as it crashes on the sandy beaches just 5 minutes away. Book now.
Glamping
The Malachite tent is one of two glamping tents here at Heritage. There is plenty to keep one busy! The Garden Route has many attractions and activities. Here on the farm you can join us for milking, or take a walk to the beach, do some bird watching or just sit on the deck and relax. Our bakery is open from Wednesday to Friday. You can also visit us at the world-renowned Wild Oats market every Saturday. Book now.
The Woodland tent is one of two glamping tents on Heritage farm. The tent is comfortably fitted and peacefully located in a forested area. The woodland kingfishers make regular appearances. Plenty to do! Join us for milking, take a stroll around the property, order breakfast, visit the bakery if you are here between Wednesdays and Fridays or take a 20 minute hike to the beach! Book now.
